Our purpose built nursery is on the Coleg y Cymoedd campus in Nantgarw providing the finest care to children in the local community as well as staff and learners at the college.

WHAT OUR PARENTS SAY

My daughter now attends Acorns, and my son did a few years ago. They are a lovely nursery. Really caring and interested in all the individual needs of each child. Dedicated chef on-site cooks healthy, nutritious meals which encourage children to eat varied interesting meals. They have a lovely garden, do lots of creative play with art, role-playing, singing, and reading.

My daughter loves going and is disappointed on a Friday to stay home with me! It has been brilliant for her confidence and social skills. My son’s transition to Primary was seamless, and I attribute that to the amazing time he had at Acorns. They have been great with both my children and I have never had any problems. They are also supportive and happy to discuss and advise on any issues children might experience. Thoroughly recommend!

All three of my children have attended Acorns Parc Nantgarw from 12 months until school age. The staff are all absolutely wonderful, loving, and caring. They really do become an extension of the family and all of my children absolutely adore their time with their friends and carers. The nursery itself is immaculately clean and you very rarely see an unhappy child - which was not my experience on viewing other nurseries prior to the decision to send my first to Acorns. The food is healthy and wholesome and my children all enjoyed it. Communication is excellent. All round I can't fault the nursery.

Acorns Parc Nantgarw have gone over and above for my son and I in the past few months. I can’t thank them enough for their continued support. My son loves going to Acorns and always talks about his friends and the staff. They are always so creative and I enjoy receiving his drawings and paintings. He has come on so much with his speech and development since attending Acorns.

I can not recommend Acorns Nantgarw enough. Both my children have enjoyed attending for years and I'm so glad I still get to send my youngest for another year or so. The development I see in her is amazing, especially the end part of last year going forward. She never goes in or comes out with anything but a smile on her face. All members of staff I've dealt with over the years are nothing but kind, happy and caring. December was a lovely month to see all the activities the children carried out and made the festive season so magical for her. The file brought home at Christmas was very special with all the handmade decorations and festive pics showing just how much fun she has at nursery. If you're in the area and looking for a nursery this is the one to pick!

We cannot recommend Acorns at Parc Nantgarw highly enough! The staff are wonderful, they all know all of the children and they greet them so warmly every morning. My son has been going for 6 months now and he rarely gives me a second look when he goes in, which is a testament to how happy and comfortable he is there. One huge highlight for me is the daily update on the app of what he has been doing, eaten, slept, nappies and lovely photos of him playing - I look forward to it every day! He is always coming home with creations they have made at nursery, which are quickly filling up my fridge. The menu is also incredible. I have already recommended Acorns to friends and will continue to do so - thank you to all the staff for looking after our boy so well.
