About The Nursery

Baby Acorns is located in the heart of Roath, caring for babies from 8 weeks old. The children transition to our sister nursery Acorns Oakfield Street which is situated in the next street between the ages of 2 and 3 years.

Baby Acorns provides the highest quality childcare with experienced, qualified Nursery Nurses. They have a wealth of childcare knowledge to share, providing the same standards of care and dedication that we would want for our own children.

WHAT OUR PARENTS SAY

Someone said to us not to look around Baby Acorns unless we could afford it. I completely understand why they said that - it's hard to say no to. On our very first visit, our little boy was completely comfortable with the staff and the surroundings. He responded really well to the nursery manager which was a huge selling point from the outset. Since choosing Baby Acorns because of its walking distance from our home and its beautiful environment and lovely staff, we have been so impressed with their care for our child. He is excited to go, he is sad to leave (!) as he has an attachment to the staff, and comes home with various paintings and creations, and reports of what he's been doing that day. The nursery promotes diversity through their activities that touch on many different religious and seasonal events. We are confident that our child is safe, happy, and stimulated at Baby Acorns and we as parents feel informed and contactable.

We have been blown away by the care and support provided by Baby Acorns, Roath. Our daughter had thrived in this setting and had made plenty of friends. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and kind and we could ask for a better service. We are updated daily and through the app we also receive a great insight into their busy/productive days.

I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parent looking for somewhere that will look after and nurture their child. My eldest attended the nursery and now my youngest attends the nursery because I rate the staff very highly. As a parent we are always well informed, updated on daily activities and have plenty of contact with the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they are hugely flexible around each child. Seeing how much the Manager and the team care about their nursery and the hard work they put in to be the best means I can absolutely, wholeheartedly, recommend this nursery.

I couldn't be more happy with Acorns. The care and dedication all the staff show towards each and every child is phenomenal. My children are so happy, always smiling and full of giggles. Thank you Acorns.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Baby Acorns for their high standard of care. My son Aubrey thoroughly enjoyed his time at this nursery and he was always excited to go! Every time I picked him up he had something to show me that he made in nursery and he took pride in sticking his artwork on his bedroom wall. The ladies have always been welcoming and they always showed warmth to my son which I very much appreciate. Thank you very much for creating lovely memories for my son.
